GBFB’s Sustainers Circle is a community of loyal and committed donors that provide year-round, sustainable support to GBFB, ensuring our neighbors in need have the nutritious food they need to thrive.
When you join Sustainers Circle, your recurring support provides crucial funding to keep GBFB’s operation running including food purchasing, distribution and feeding programs, critical investments in our network, SNAP support, and our food insecurity research.
Your monthly gifts help to ensure neighbors like Christine have access to healthy food all year long. Christine is a former marketing professional whose income reduced with a
bad fall that led to multiple surgeries. She now lives on a fixed income of just $940 a month and visits our Partner Agency in Acord to get the healthy food she needs to thrive. “It’s amazing,” she says, “to me this is the biggest gift. I have three bags of food. Now I can’t wait to get home and make stuff.”
2025 Sustainer Match Challenge
We’re excited to announce the 2025 Sustainer Match Challenge. Spearheaded by Ted Truscott, Chair of GBFB’s Board of Directors, for every new Sustainer sign-up—or existing Sustainer that increases the amount of their recurring gift—the board will donate $1,000 up to a total of $500,000 (first 500 donors that join or upgrade their giving). Some Sustainers give on a different cycle, and some by check. To become a Sustainer by check, contact us at development@gbfb.org.
