The 28th Strike Out Hunger fundraiser, set for July 12 & 13, was canceled due to the COVID-19 crisis and shortened MLB season.
Every summer the Red Sox Wives and girlfriends host their annual Strike Out Hunger fundraiser at Fenway Park. Attendees received an autographed picture of their favorite Red Sox player in exchange for a $10 donation. The Red Sox Wives have supported The Greater Boston Food Bank’s mission to end hunger across Eastern Massachusetts with this fundraiser for over two decades.
Over the past 28 years, the Strike Out Hunger event has raised more than $378,600, providing more than 1.1 million meals for the hungry across eastern Massachusetts. View photos from recent years: Red Sox Wives 2016 and Red Sox Wives 2019.
