Women’s Lunch Place’s Partnership with GBFB Helps Provide Thousands of Meals

Shortly after Eileen lost her job in the cruise industry during the pandemic, she faced another unthinkable crisis: her house burned down during the California wildfires in August 2020.
Since moving to Massachusetts, Eileen has found support through Women’s Lunch Place in Boston, a GBFB Agency Partner that serves nutritious meals to neighbors in need.
“This place is a godsend,” says Eileen. “Not only do I come for the food, but I come for, you know, the support, the emotional support, the interaction. Without a doubt, they care for me very, very much.”
