The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) is changing the partner we use to process donations from generous supporters like you in order to improve our donor experience and operations.
We understand that donors expect their gifts to be processed in a timely manner. Unfortunately, with the outgoing vendor, GBFB experienced gift processing delays and we were not satisfied with their communication, support, or service. As an organization that relies heavily on the generosity of our supporters, these delays were simply not acceptable to us.
Because GBFB values and counts on our relationships with donors and supporters, we made the decision to find a new gift processing vendor that could better meet our needs. The new donation processing center we have chosen has an outstanding and longstanding national reputation for efficiency, security, strong customer service, and we are confident that this new partnership can, and will, help us to be strong stewards of the generous donations we receive from supporters like you.
We want to assure donors that although there will be a change in our donation processing center, their gifts will still be processed with care and efficiency. Beginning in early July, you will see a new mailing address on the donation reply envelopes. The new address is: GBFB Gift Processing Center, PO Box 96668, Washington, D.C. 20090-6668.
We are excited about this change and the benefits it will bring to both the organization and to donors. We want to thank all of our supporters for their generosity and for trusting us to use their gifts wisely in our efforts to feed Eastern Massachusetts. We look forward to continuing to work together to end hunger here.
