To address the barriers for seniors accessing SNAP, the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA), the state agency that administers SNAP, has opened a new Senior Assistance Office.
The Greater Boston Food Bank is asking that MEFAP funding be increased to $20 million to provide an additional four million healthy meals to our neighbors in need.
