On September 27, 2012, The Greater Boston Food Bank celebrated the launch of Click ‘N Cook, an online recipe data base with more than 500 creative dishes you can create based on the ingredients you have available.
Using Click ‘N Cook is simple. Select from a list of over 100 available ingredients, and view a list of recipes you can cook based on what you already have in your home. Click ‘N Cook was designed by GBFB Dietitians for member hunger relief agencies and clients to food pantries who may receive fresh, nutritious foods from GBFB that are unfamiliar to them. It is a valuable tool for the general public as well.
With a few easy clicks, you can turn squash, tofu, or yams into a delicious meal. The list of ingredients also includes recipes for more familiar items such as chicken, pasta, or peanut butter.
UPDATE: Click ‘N Cook has been improved and redesigned as of November 2016! Visit the new Click ‘N Cook at clickncook.org!
