FreshFest 2019
More than 400 of our closest friends, supporters and collaborators joined us on Thursday, May 16 at The Greater Boston Food Bank’s largest annual fundraiser—FreshFest.
Thanks to our generous donors, and the leadership of our premier event sponsor, Whole Foods Market, we raised funds to provide over 3.7 million healthy meals to hungry people across Eastern Massachusetts.
Held annually inside the GBFB warehouse, this year’s event celebrated the 10th anniversary of our building’s opening. It also served as the public launch of our Hunger Free 2028 campaign.
A big thanks to VDA Productions, one of our lead sponsors, who transformed our building from a functioning warehouse into a function room and back, all in a matter of hours. Check out the time lapse video below to watch the final day of work:
