GBFB Kitchen Cabinet Celebrates Most Successful Event to Date

Published on November 19, 2012

On Monday, November 12, more than 220 friends and supporters of GBFB attended the annual Kitchen Cabinet Fall into Fall Event. The Kitchen Cabinet is a group of Boston area professionals committed to ending hunger here. “Fall into Fall” raised more than $25,000, enough for 60,213 meals, making it the most successful Kitchen Cabinet event since the group was formed in 2005. The evening began with a cocktail reception at the Lenox Hotel’s Open Table restaurant. Guests were then invited to attend Boston Magazine’s third annual Taste event at the nearby Mandarin Oriental where a silent auction was held to benefit GBFB. Items up for auction included spa packages, sports tickets and autographed memorabilia, housewares, meal packages, and more. In addition to being the Kitchen Cabinet’s most successful fundraiser to date, it was also the best attended. The group continues to grow under the leadership of Sarah Biller, Hannah Commoss and Kirby Lunger.
